Ginger Thompson continues to struggle in the postseason this year, hit hard by the Pelicans batters. The cat gave 6 earned runs in just four and a third innings, and the next two relief pitchers fared little better as the home team scored an additional six runs in the next three innings. The Swamp Foxes gave up six doubles and a home run as they seemed to struggle to get out of the game, allowing every Pelican to get a hit in the game. The Pelicans staff fared little better, giving up 11 hits themselves, though with the home crowd's support they found themselves up three games to two, needing to only win one more game in the next two in Charleston to lift the FLB Championship.
