I'm creating and developing a new RPG to pitch and hopefully sell to whatever video game company will have it. This is a series containing artwork of different characters from the story, all of which have been done by a very good friend of mine, whose work I respect very much.

Unbeknownst to many, Arlo is the younger brother of Jobe, who ran away from home years prior to the events of the story due to feeling neglected by his parents in favor of his older brother. He lives on the continent of Faria and is the top fighter in his city, Risto, in spite of his relatively young age. Upon the separation of Storm, Jobe, and Michel, he is met by the latter when she stops by a battle arena he fights in regularly to ask around for information on the next Keeper. Instead, Michel winds up taking part in some matches when Arlo is in need of a doubles partner in a doubles fighting tournament since his usual partner, Ayer, is temporarily incapacitated due to a broken leg obtained in a prior battle.

After getting to the final round of the tournament, they face off with Arlo’s long-standing rivals, Jamir and Jana, and it is during a battle with them that Arlo, too, is revealed to be a Keeper. He was struck by a meteor while training in secret not far from his home. After some prodding and pleading by Michel, he ultimately decides to leave town and look for the other Keepers with her. It is revealed through conversations that while he loves his parents and brother, he still feels much anger and resentment toward them for his neglect while growing up. These negative feelings have slightly hardened him emotionally and forced him to toughen up his mind and resolve, but he still has some compassion. He is mostly a loner, but is capable of making friends. Arlo is a brawler and uses gloves, claws, fists, and knuckles in battle. He’s the Keeper of Ice and can summon the Entity Qiqirn.

Arlo was designed in the perfect image of my real-life younger brother. ;)
