I'm creating and developing a new RPG to pitch and hopefully sell to whatever video game company will have it. This is a series containing artwork of different characters from the story, all of which have been done by a very good friend of mine, whose work I respect very much.
Name: Olorun
Age: Over 4,000
Designation: God
Four millennia ago, the world was vast, desolate, and empty. Not a shred of life existed. This was before the god Tsui-Goab appeared, having come from our world, no longer able to stand the destruction and oppression heaped upon the many black races of that world. Finding this empty world, Tsui-Goab, joined by a host of other gods who had followed him to this new world, decided, with his infinite power, to start anew with a world of his own. He sent one of his lesser gods, a god by the name of Olorun, to create this new world and monitor it as closely as he saw fit.
Olorun began his work by creating the light of day with his creation of the sun and the darkness of night with his creation of the moon. Each would shine for sixteen hours apiece, thus making for thirty-two-hour days. He then went on to forge the land and form the four main continents of the world — Aarde, Burg, Faria, and Ulf. He then carved out the mountains, valleys, canyons, and gorges. He then proceeded to create the lakes, the rivers, and the oceans, and even the small ponds and fords. He created the flora and brought trees, plants, and flowers to the surface. He then created the fauna and brought all of the animals into the world — animals much like the ones we see today.
After all of this was done, Olorun saw fit to create the peoples who would inhabit the world. First, he created humans. These humans were divided into two subraces — the light-skinned Lumiderms and the dark-skinned Umbraderms. But to keep these two races from self-destructing, he created a servant of equal power to him: Xamaba. However, Xamaba, a century later, turned on Olorun and tried to overthrow him, forcing Olorun to trap him and separate his power into six crystals.
After the Lumiderms tried to enslave and then decimate the Umbraderms, Olorun eliminated the Lumiderms with a deadly plague. In addition, he created the werewolves, Castor, Codyli, and Sui of the world centuries after the humans' creation.
Olorun now serves as the god of Aterea, and every eighty years, he leaves the protection of the world and its people up to representatives of the people themselves -- the Keepers. He picks them during the Sacred Meteor Shower and infuses them with the elemental powers of fire, light, darkness, thunder, Earth, wind, ice, and water. It occurs in a cycle that has always been perpetual and unending.
