Don Karkara, the shark Mafia boss, prepares to deliver a knockout blow.
This is a picture I drew to promote Beast's Fury, a fighting game which was in development at the time and was to feature a cast of anthropomorphic animal brawlers like Don here. Don was easily my favorite character in the game because he had command grabs, and because he was so unapologetically brutal. Unfortunately, despite two successful crowdfunding campaigns, the game was eventually cancelled anyway, and I did consider deleting this submission because of that. But I decided to leave it up because I still think this is one of the best drawings I've ever done.
Remember, just because a crowdfunding campaign succeeds, it doesn't mean that the product will ever see the light of day! Donate responsibly!
