Really beautiful color work on this picture--the feathers are a nice contrast to his eyes, which are very striking with that lovely gold shade.

Fave! If you would like a photo of a real 1870s plains Indian (Soiux rather than Dakota) tomahawk for use as a reference, I'd be happy to take one for you of mine. Ditto golden eagle feathers which I found on my ranch. (Shhhh! Please don't tell the federalies; I'm not an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. I'm old fasioned: When an eagle voluntarily leaves a feather for me, I figure that's between the eagle and me, and none of the government's business.)
