check out a few of those bands...very interesting...
some of the bands i listen too are...Periphery, Animals as leaders, The Oceans, Karnivool, Tesseract, P.O.D. , and linkin park...(though everyone knows linkin park, but i listen to a lot of there older stuff...like when they were Xero and Hybrid Theory "the band name"...had more heaver stuff back then...)

Ugh, such a shame I managed to lose your artwork among the other stuff I get...
You have your own nice looking style, and I havent seen that many bat-characters so well implemented. Good job.
As for metal bands...
I listen to a lot of Avenged Sevenfold, Nightwish, Disturbed, and Alesena (Alesena are more screamo, but oh well...)
Nightwish have a unique style to their songs
If you want something really different, check out Blood Stain Child, and their album, Epsilon. I reccomend you take a listen to Stargazer first to get a feel of what they do, as it is more like Trance-Metal-techno hybrid
