I'm creating and developing a new RPG to pitch and hopefully sell to whatever video game company will have it. This is a series containing musical works from this game concept. They are all written by me, as I plan on doing my own music for the game. At least for most of it. Obviously, there's a chance that whatever company accepts this game might want to hire a composer to do his or her own music for it, but on the chance that that does not happen, these are samples of mine. Except for a few, they all loop through twice.
This is Michel Acera Leamonda's theme. It is set in F-minor the whole way through to represent the pain and sorrow that she has been going through due to her young daughter's death and her divorce. The inspiration for this piece came from going to Flute Fusion, a mandatory event for flute studio students in the area in which my university resided. During it, I heard my flute professor play a flute-flute-piano trio with a visiting guest flute professor from a Chicago university. The piece was called "Maya" by Ian Clarke. It was absolutely beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. (Look it up on YouTube to see what I mean!) That gave me the idea for Michel's theme. It initially featured two flutes and a harp, but I realized that it was missing some countermelodies and harmonies, so I added two oboes, as well. I think it came out very well.
Michel's theme appears in a few variations in other works I will submit here at later dates.
