A quick sketch of Darkthunder holding his son while Grell looks on.
Yeah, you're certainly thinking "WTF? How and when and with whom?"
Darkie and Grell took an extended leave from their duties with the Archosaur Patrol so they could travel to the terrorclaws' homeworld to have their union blessed by Darkie's pack. The elders found their mating highly unusual -- both males and from different species -- but they gave their approval, with one condition. Darkie still had to mate a female and give offspring to the pack.
Four hatchies were born from it, and Darkie was allowed to choose one to take back with him, to be raised outside of the pack as a step to get terrorclaws more accepted within the saurian races that make the Archosaur Domains. So the little raptor has two parents to teach him -- one in the ways of the hunter, and the other in the ways of the leaf eaters.
This was just an idea that sprung to mind, so I doodled it real quick to get it out of my mind. I'm not planning to finish this, but if I ever do, I would most probably redraw it completely.

Very sweet.
And it's nice to see that in your worlds there is still a capacity for understanding and tolerance.
The decision to allow Grell and Darkthunder's union, and of allowing him to raise a son in a multicultural and multispecist fashion is encouraging.
Wonderful concept!

Well, I'm obviously biased in favor of unions for gays, and to allow them to raise kids.
I imagine that, in a society made up of several intelligent species -- that are not contaminated by the narrow-minded views of our bible-thumping majority -- this sort of union would be no more unusual than wondering what would they have for lunch tomorrow.

Good point! It's damnably hard to find a nice, calm, sedate youth. I hate human youths, however, and I wouldn't tolerate one for long... I'd go insane and kill it (because they're all just a bunch of critters to me) in short order.
As for heterosexual marriage... I can't even see myself having heterosexual sex! Yuck.
