So I decided "what the hey" and did this same picture in watercolor and pastel...and in my opinion, I like the WC better.
This is all done in watercolor except for the lineart that I outlined in Sharpie pen.
I can't remember exactly how long this took me but I'd say about three hours altogether. :P
