Comic i drew to commemorate an interesting night.
save it now, because i just MIGHT delete it. I know I'm probably going to lose some Watchers because of this... But just know, that i have my reasons. I really... really do not feel the LEAST bit bad about this. in fact, i am proud.
it was like 1am and i was in the study lounge doing homework. Then the fire Alarm went off and we all had to leave. We went back in after 15 minutes or so while i was talking to some of my Floor mates. they invited me in to take a load off, and i obliged. they were very friendly and casual, and i had a "feeling" i just KNEW what was coming next.....
i was very eager actually. i was trying not to look TOO eager.
-I particularly enjoyed the episodic flashbacks.
-I became very candid and open, and i really felt like we were good close long-time buddies.
-call me wierd..... I really really like the flavor and smell o_o i'm thinking it's actually making it to my top 5 list of Favorite smells now.
----
I must say a few things...
I appreciate any concern... sincere or not... but i must remind you...
I am NOT your responsibility.
I did it mainly for the Analgesia. Any other effects or benefits are just a bonus. I, as one who has a penchant for Chemistry and an avid interest in pharmacology... The more i learn.. the more i realize the absolute ABSURD hypocrisy. Bullshit, baloney double-standard OBSCURANTISM(intentional omission of details, the whole truth, in order to allow a prevailing paradigm to persist.) that's been going on in the world.
the Cherry-picking of anecdotal information, the selective filtering and attention.
think about it.... Tobacco, and Alcohol... those are your ONLY legal options if you specifically want to get intoxicated... both of which are patently harmful and destructive to life and families, etc... cars crashing, puking, dying.. kids failing, etc... with NO therapeutic value!!!
then WHY.... WHY do we do it?
it's the funding...
-we make SO much money from Booze & Cigarettes, and we're NOT willing to give that up...
-We've gotten to comfortable with them
-We've accommodated it for too long, (9000years) as something acceptable and desirable(everyone waits for their 21st bday) too ingrained in our cultures over the many millenia.
Fact:
you cannot patent a non-patentable herb... there is NO money in it...
BUT.... Fact: Marinol(the isolated extract of THC) is 25$ a pill... that's 4000$ for a bottle of 180
FACT! Desoxyn (MethAmphetamine) is legal by RX, and costs about 4$ a pill.
FUCK the FDA! (i need a bigger font...)
FUCK the DEA! (i write this on bathroom walls ;3~)
I went down to Coconut grove and got my own pipe to take home, so i won't have to be one of those "Free-loader" types.
Yes... they really DO look like dog dicks. I can't get past that XD!!!
I really like how i was able to get in a lot of practice on my Anthro Lion form. I think i made him look very endearing. Comments Please!
Kharnak's Breakfast Suggestions....
Banana + Ketchup... mmm!!!
Tea + CocaCola .... yum!

Hehe, I'm not gonna stop watchin' you for trying weed xD There are a myriad of worse things to do and really pot isn't that bad for you, really it's probably better than tobacco. I don't think I will try it as the only high I want to get is something with a visual disturbance (and I can do that in an isolation chamber which is 100% legal) Good for you though for trying something new :)
i have.... Legitimate analgesic needs...
and i say that often, and i'm sticking to it.
the more i read and learn, the more i think WT....F!!!
turns out his has neuroprotective properties... a Lethal dose of 60grams, impossible to achieve due to serum saturation.
example:
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a.....ion-Dosing.png
it's NOTHING like tobacco. (LD of 40mg...-_o)
and if you're going to trip, it's better to be in a supportive environment with friends.
As for visuals..... DXM can do that to get closed-eye visuals. with some vitamin B6...
oh with pot, you can close your eyes and focus on Music, and each song will sound clear in both ears, and you just totally forget about your body. I can see how it would be seen as a spiritual thing but.... I'm really not a very spiritual person at all. I gotta try some meditation next time.

Oh, the reason I want to try it in an isolation tank is because of the fact I don't need to take anything and I don't have to worry about taking too much or too little, not to mention sense deprivation sounds interesting to me
And I understand totally about the analgesic needs part, I have a friend who smokes weed a lot because she has like something that she needs it for O.=.o I don't remember actually because we haven't talked in like a year.
I also know the specs on weed, and yeah, it's a lot better for you than tobacco. I was the stoner kid in high school without actually being stoned. Information on it was fascinating to me and I would spend hours learning about drugs trying to understand them xD I've never tried drugs though because I don't want to and I have no medical reason to try it (Other than ADD but I don't like to pill myself up for that as I don't need to)
And getting the drugs has never been an issue for me. I have copious amounts of LSA on hand that I can process and have it ready to use in a matter of days, but I don't because I don't need to. You probably already know that LSA can be obtained from certain varieties of morning glories, and that's where I have it at. I just like the look of morning glories so I grow them xD

Eh, I've always felt it'd be smarter for the Government to regulate and tax just like they do alcohol and tobacco. They'd make money off of it and be able to better control it. Plus people wouldn't be so eager to try the really bad, poorly made stuff if people had more experience with what the effects cause.
Think of Prohibition, you know?
As for you trying it? Whatever rocks your boat. I never would, due to issues with asthma and inhaling smoke. Hrm, maybe with special brownies though... No objection with the plant itself, just with the delivery system. Inhaling smoke is just BAD for your lungs and mine are worse off than usual.

I remember my first breath of the stuff. My sinuses opened up really nicely. I've only ever gotten second-hand smoke, mainly because I couldn't possibly put my mouth on the same joint or pipe someone else's mouth has been on. I wasn't entirely sure if the lung-opening was only a sensation from the smoke, or if it actually did open up my breathing passages. Either way, I generally don't like the smell of smoke, any kind of smoke(not even incense), so I don't get around the stuff much.

I'd recommend cat pee Ignore this if you haven't watched Southpark episode 1203. And for the pic, I don't think anybody here is so close minded to come forward and say "Drugs are bad, m'kay.", especially considering how much worse of an effect tobacco and alcohol have. I think there even was a Penn & Teller Bullshit episode on "The War on Drugs", depicting how the government spent the peoples money to hunt down the people who did what you did every now and then. There was even one guy who received his stuff from the state, as he's the last living member of an experiment to test the positive effects of pot on certain illnesses, though I forgot which ones. I only remember that he used to be in constant pain, which was pretty much stopped by what is so demonized today. As for me, I never drink (except a Bailey's once or twice a month if I fee like it) because I think almost everything alcoholic tastes really bad, I don't smoke, cause the sell of smokers alone makes me want to vomit, and I probably won't try anything else, as I try to avoid any risk of addiction, even if the chances are miniscule. As four you, do your thing and don't let others stop you.
haven't seen SouthPark in a while. but i'm familiar with the P&T series.
I do however feel very strongly against Alcohol and Tobacco.
I wish i could engineer a super tobacco mosaic virus to wipe out the whole US crops. Imagine.. a world, where you can light up in the Physics auitorium, with the professor lecturing right there, and it's all good.
I keep telling people that i have Legitimate Analgesic needs. I say, start off every morning as if you just ran 1 mile.. and then get a nice Mafia beating. After 3 years, you kinda get tired of feeling like your hands got slammed into a door, and your knees bashed into a corner, and your feet feel like you've been jumping up and down on concrete all day. And your ribs feel like they're gonna rip if you try to draw a full breath. I have a laundry list of symtpoms. (i hate feeling like a criminal for even bringing up the subject of wanting pain relief from my own Doctor) There was a time, long ago when i was healthy, when i used to be against almost any kind of substance use, and I even looked down on the act of taking Tylenol or even drinking coffee.
But perspectives change when people are actually affected by things. that's how it is.
One must always keep in mind the Economic basis of why we have our public policies. What is good for business? where does the money go?
Imagine if we taxed the shit out of most soft-substances... and we created whole new bureaucracies where people get paid, and revenues can be collected. like if Lysergic Acid was something you'd have to take a standardized test for, like getting a driver's liscence, where you have to prove your knowledge and understanding of it before you can obtain it legally for purposes of self-exploration and introspective understanding. there's an idea, using the same rules of the game.
But Obscurantism is the only thing keeping the public misinformed.
"Telling the truth means telling the whole truth" -White Williams
things will change... times will change. But one can't change the world by whispering.
I tend to be strangely optimistic about the future for some reason.

I'd just be happy if people wouldn't smoke around me. To be honest, I don't really care about people smoking and drinking, as long as they don't do any harm its completely up to them. But I hate it when they smoke right in front of the "NO SMOKING" sign at the train station, or in the middle of a crowd huddled under the station roof when its raining. I consider it just as dissocial as letting out a huge fart wile in the middle of a crowd. And the smell seems to stick to you, once you just sit in a smoker's car for a minute, my clothes smell like I'd be a heavy smoker for the entire day! I could go on, but why bother, you probably know the problem yourself. There's a huge debate about it here in Germany, as smoking on public transport and most public buildings has been banned, but its not really taken seriously. Lets hope they don't get to impose a speed limit either...
And your sickness sounds really harsh, it really reminds me of the dude who was on P&T once, I think he had some very similar issues. I couldn't really imagine people who criminalize substance use to avoid the symptoms you've described, but they probably have about as much knowledge of it as the people who think you've got to kill schoolgirls in counter-strike. And yet, those are mostly those who make the decisions. It often occurred to me, that those who make decisions are those who are actually the least informed about the topic, but I'd never really say that until I'd know the topic myself thoroughly.
And beefing up the favs gallery... Hmm, how bout you watch the sp episode first? Its one of the best yet, absolutely stunning ^^
And BTW, you mentioned Physics auditorium, are you actually studying physics? If so, where? Cause I'm doing the same thing, in fact I'm just taking a brake from transferring barely readable crap into stuff worthy to hand in ^^

the FDA and the DEA have business practices that perpetuate and protect their own interests.
we do not care about any
any news that reduces a traditionally illicit drug's image as a one-way death trap, is ignored, swept under the rug, and intentionally withheld from the public.
examples:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIMU-8 a 5HT4 agonist in a very particular way that acts as a safety net for Opioid overdose. Imagine if it became available, and people could feel as if they have a safety net like that.

my goodness, nobody's ever heard of them ;o Novel analgesics? not a peep. you essentially have to be a deaf blind 90 year old woman with cancer to get any kind of sympathy. stupid fucking healthy people don't know how good they have it! fuck them all! >;L
In Germany, and around the world, we won't give up tobacco because it makes TOO much money.
-i have no TV, no computer.
- I've taken 3 semesters of a Physics sequence here in UM
205-classical mechanics
206-fluid and thermodynamics
207-Electromagnetism
The classes in general get borderline/failing grades all the time. We all do bad. so by that standard, i'm doing average. which means, really shitty. it means that we're bad Physicists... but we're very smart lay-people.

my entire family essentially drank themsleves retarded too.
Booze and Tobacco are horrible.
and like i said.. i KNOW people who have the same impression based on some family problems, bla bla.
The word... Drug... has been trained into you to have a Negative connotation. It's a "trigger word"
pharmaceutical, medicine, substance, compound. Psychoactive, psychedelic, entheogen, entactogen, Herbal, supplement, Food...
oh the power of definition.
if someone's gonna be a dumbass and get into a car... the DEA would love to tout them as another poster child. "Here's another, see?!"

Cultural Bias
12,000 people a year die from using NSAIDS, (like Tylenol, Aspirin, etc.)
1200 people/DAY die from Tobacco related issues
300 people/DAY die from Alcohol related issues.
Opioids... 1/day
OH THE IRONY! the sweet bitter metallic Irony of it all!
hey..... if i wanted to get fucked up.... in a Culturally Acceptable way... i could walk over to the Bar ON CAMPUS right now ;3
but no....
Anyone who Smokes Tobacoo... or drinks Alcohol, is a TOOL of the FDA and the DEA.
They help support the SHITTY politicians that we all HATE!

anybody who does blow smoke in your face is indeed an asshole. Proper polite discretion is common courtesy. It's ok, i'd respect you for it.
if you really really have no desire or enticement for the popular psychoactive agents.... good for you, and really.. i do applaud you for that. that's admirable.
but umm... yeah.... me and my...Legitimate Analgesic needs..
my.. asshole doctor who wants me to lay in bed squirming in pain... bla.. and stuff.

I fully understand, believe me. I've been one of the few people who pay close attention to that sort of thing, since it's been a part of my past for so long, and I hate to make snap judgments.
I've heard about the positive and negative effects of smoking from a lot of people... one person who's about 34 and both he and his wife have been smoking for years posted a VERY honest, informative thing on Lulz.net, believe it or not.
But... well. I've said enough, I think.
