OMG.., that's just too close to home.
A few years ago I was helping out at an Earth Day activity with my scope, and a little kid though my Newtonian was one of those ball toss tubes at the pizza places.
He used a small 1/4 inch diameter rock down the tube of my Newtonian (Taka-taka-taka-THUNK!)
To say I was sweating bricks was an understatement. Thankfully for the mirror (and the parents) there was ZERO damage (whew!).
LOL now with this pic, but it's still too close to home.
