Got bored with my insomnia kicking in again. Started thinking about the histories behind some of my characters. Tiffany came to the front of my mind while I was doing that.
Tiffany's mother was a beach girl from St. Simon's island. A lovely part of Georgia on the coast. She met a roguish young man when she was nineteen and fell head over heels for the fella in what would normally have been a short lived summer romance. They fooled around and she became pregnant one night after a wild romp on the beach.
She had to move inland a bit to follow a job,and her baby's father shortly after finding out. The job fell through and after Tiffany was born she had to settle for being a waitress in a small town.
The picture is of Tiffany's mother shortly after learning her daughter was on the way, but before she could tell daddy. That's a lot for a free spirit to ponder.
I wanted to draw a background of the shore, but none of my sketches at this angle were coming out right.
It was inked in my normal fashion with tech pens filled with india ink.
Tiffany, and her family are my creations and copyright me, Talbotlynx.

Thanks.
And I believe 'anyone' can draw 'anything' if they simply work on and study the subject hard enough. I couldn't get a good art teacher until I was seventeen. All the others ignored me and said I had no talent. I'm a self taught artist with a stubborn streak. lol

Thanks. I've always tried to make anything I put on paper into a living breathing creation instead of just a static image. Helps me figure out how they'd act in an image, like this one. Was going to draw her smiling, but thought this would make her look more interesting, and illustrate something major that shaped who she became.
