It could be that he firmly believes to be a human trapped in a nonhuman body.

That's more or less how I always saw this piece more so that he is a human though and this is how he sees himself, or he feels society sees him. But I am open to interpretation, people enjoy the comedic 'even the monster under the bed has problems' aspect of it, and I am completely fine with that. Art is open to interpretation, whatever it means to you, is what it means.

That reminds me of some comic I've seen at one point, though. Satan on a psych couch, explaining to the shrink with a rather worried expression on his face that he's been feeling pretty good lately.

The monster was always meant to be huge, I just didn't do right the first time haha

I have a good 10-15 clients currently in my MFT master's program. One very important thing to remember is that no matter how awful a person might seem, they almost always have a reason for why they do what they do. They almost always have a justified motivation. They're all people, deep down, and one of the best things they can do is admit that they need help. I guess that's why I like this piece so much.

This is absolutely adorable and I love it to pieces for how many interpretations people come in from the comments about him <3 the scenery is lovely too, the window looks gorgeous, the sunlight is classic, the look of the walls and book colours really make this a warm comfortable place rather than something cold and clinical.

Well, first of all, to think of something like that is such an awesome thing! You're an awesome aritst, this made me hit the watch button with absolutely no doubts. You clearly know what you're on to.

Now, speaking of what's happening... just the fact that the dragon had a place to go to, to seek for help makes me feel positive about this since he's on his way to solving whatever problems he's got, instead of just locking himself in some room and suffering in silence. Instead of guessing what's happening I would rather just say that keeping it confidential is the best thing to do for me, if the dragon will someday want to talk about it fine, but for now I would respect his privacy and maybe give him a hug ^.^ because his expression just asks for one!
