Glad you like them. Yes, their thoughts are supposed to be nearly synchronized when Kitchy knocks on the door. Dave is supposed to have a New England accent, more specifically a Boston accent. Although sometimes I think I give him a bit of a New York accent instead. I just try to imagine how some of the people sounded when I lived there and put it into his speech.
I was seeing that in the thumbnail, and combined with the title it had me thinking "wait what". It would have been out of character, so I was (mostly) relieved to see my initial impression proven incorrect, but I still feel slightly led on. I can't help thinking that Chucky (writer/artist) likes being a tease. :)
