This is true! I just don't have many in my area and since I'm pretty new to the fandom, (2 years) I'm just starting to branch out and make new girlfriends! ^_^ All furries are super sweet and nice tho, that I've met so far! I'm so happy I became part of the fandom, and going to cons is just the best thing ever!
I hope your personal experience with furries stays nice. Unfortunately there are a great deal of furs that will try to cheat you. When anything of value is involved be on guard as you would with any stranger even if you know the furson that includes when you want to commission something.
