I used to play a MUD called DragonRealms back in high school. Oh boy did it suck up a lot of my time. It was also at least partially responsible for me finding Furry in the first place.
The S'kra Mur were for a long time the only anthro type race.. more snake than lizard really, but this had always been my take on them. During my latest indulgence in the game, I was playing a War Mage, a class that was possessed of both martial prowess, familiars, and elemental magics. I kept a lot of notes in a composition notebook, and would occasionally sketch. This one made it to completion with colored pencils and I found it recently.
Alas, the game isn't what it used to be. It's always been a grind fest, and unfortunately, a lot of that grinding is non-combat skills. When you need three more ranks of foraging to level up, you tend to get a lot of people just sitting around in front of the build rooting around for sticks. That's boring, so people run scripts and go to bed. The 'Multiplayer' portion of the MUD is (was) all but dead, and I lost interest in what has become essentially a single-player run-in-the-background game that cost twenty bucks a month.
Ah well, this is also why we shouldn't watch beloved childhood cartoons as adults.
