Here's the dragon tail commission made with those beautiful anodized titanium scales I previously posted ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/12220236/ ). (And the underbelly of the tail is stainless steel.) The colors on this were fantastic. A friend of mine said that it reminded them of the Rainbow Fish book.

It's also not quite completed yet, because the commissioner wants spikes installed down the spine. But I really wanted to take photos of it before I did that.

These scales were custom-anodized for the commissioner by the manufacturer, and were rather expensive, but if someone really wanted I could probably acquire more.

The accounting on this tail was a bit odd because the commissioner special-ordered the anodized titanium scales and shipped them to me. So I discounted a chunk of the material cost of the price, but then there were spikes added down the spine, which brought the price back up. I think a tail with these materials would run about $350-$400. I'd have to get a quote from the manufacturer on the price of the scales.
