You know, sometimes, clothes are just a hassle. Got all this fur all over. Claws get caught in the fabric whenever you try to put something on. Doesn't help that cheetahs can't really retract their claws like other cats. And you would think that by now there would be a more elegant solution for what to do with your tail when you put pants on. Yeah, I know, first world problems, right? Or would it be furry world problems? *shrug*
Point is, sometimes it's best not to deal with clothes all. Like when you just gotta chill, and contemplate deep questions of life. Questions like "If I lay here long enough all sexy like, will a girl finally notice me?" or "Who can resist a cheetah on International Cheetah Day?" or "What causes pip in poultry?"
Whatever deep question it may be, it's probably not the best way to spend International Cheetah Day, honestly. Might not actually be the point of the day, really. But who knows! I've had a pretty lucky day so far! Something good might happen yet!
In all seriousness, though, International Cheetah Day is a day to raise awareness for the cheetah and to help keep their extinction from occurring. I can't give any description that will do this day justice, so I'll just do what I can to spread awareness. I may not be the most environmental or green person around, but the the cheetah is obviously very close to my heart. Would be a shame to lose them or any other species. With all the school work I had, I forgot what day it was until this morning. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to do something for it. Like make a picture or something. Had this idea for drawing a feral form for Skips, which I think would be more appropriate to do in celebration for the day.
However, it just so happens I got my Black Friday pinup that I commissioned from Jalmu the other day, so I guess posting some cheetah art today is better than posting none at all, right? Big thanks to Jalmu for making this, and I've kinda been wanting to get something akin to this for a little while now, and I'm glad I did. Sexy Skips is sexy. And it has a paw shot too, so that's even more awesome. Hehe.
Anyways, Happy Cheetah Day, y'all! Enjoy this picture of Skips. It'll make you think of cheetahs. And cheetahs are awesome.

Hey, I'm certainly not going to complain about a chee lounging around like that! I can see those gears workin', serious thought time. My serious thoughts include such gems as, "How many shrimp can I eat before I can't move?" and "What is that shiny thing over there?"
Happy Chee Day!!
Happy Chee Day!!
Well, it's funny you mention that, because just last night I was in a little discussion about whether or not clothes aren't necessary for furry characters, and I argued that some species, like cheetahs, probably would need them, because unless their an asiatic cheetah from the Iranian mountains, you're not gonna have the sort of fur a husky or snow leopard has, so an extra layer or two will probably do well for you in the cold.
