For people who don't know, my weapon of choice in fighting RP's is usually a strong metal bo-staff, however  dragonien came up with an interesting way to upgrade it. He designed this new weapon so that it can still be used as a regular staff in close range combat, made from a strong black colored metal. The main difference is that in the middle of the staff there is a type of hook, when it is pulled it draws back attached to a string that glows with strong energy, each end of the weapon starts to draw back too, making it take on a shape that is more like a bow. Once the hook is released it shoots out an arrow that appears to be made of pure light at its target.
That's not all however, the string can also be used in another way, if the opportunity arises it is possible to pull the string and wrap it around my opponent, then attach the hook to the string so they are tied up before the main staff weapon disconnects, the energy in the string makes it feel as if it weighs dozens of pounds to keep the enemies movements as restricted as possible.
The staff itself is capable of absorbing some physical attacks without much trouble as long as they aren’t too strong, then it can store the energy of the attack for a short while and deal the same amount force back to the opponent by touching them with the very end of it.
I’m not sure if that made much sense but hopefully it did ^^

The outfit in this picture is designed to be similar to the one worn by Ishida Uryu from the Bleach anime.

The background doesn’t have much detail unfortunately, the main reason for this is that every time I tried to add a type of texture, different shading effects, more items etc, the shrunken down image that would be used in galleries such as FA looked too messy because everything became squashed together.

And also thanks  dragonien for the new type of weapon, the design is great for both short and long range combat, I love the idea behind it and it should be a very useful piece of equipment ^^
