Yeah I'm still rather upset over it, Its truly sad and disappointing that just because someone was different, people felt the need to be cruel to them. I mean we see this kind of thing nowadays all the time, kids being bullied into feeling like there is no other choice. Its an actual problem, one among many yes, but one that we hear about but really don't THINK about. I know bullying has been a huge issue, but I never really FELT it hit this hard. Tragic yes, saddening yes, but this time, man I considered him like one of us. This one kind of really did hit a bit close to home. Noone should be harassed or bullied because they are different. All that really matters in the end is that they are happy. I don't see us ridding the world of cruelty, barbarianism I'd dare even say, anytime soon. But maybe through information, guidance, and support, we can teach these kids that it doesn't matter what the ignorant may think or say. Just to realize that you are stronger and wiser then those who must harass others to feel good about themselves. We value the opinions and views of those whom we love and care about. The haters, and bullies, and those whom seek to see you fall, we must realize why they do what they do and only pray for them to maybe find some wisdom one day and see the error of their ways.
