Proof I'm still arting. A random gift sketch, for
kazukiferret.
He suffers from Kalashinokovphilia, but aside from that one strange problem, he's really a decent and likable fur. Give his story 'Survival' a read, as it's a killer 'Resident Evil' style tale, with guns, mayhem, and zombies.

M-14 is an excellent weapon, out standing marksmen's weapon. On full auto tho' I aint got a prayer of controlling it tho. AK47 I could manage. I also perfer the M1 Garand over the M-14, I'm a big fan of the classic 30/'06 round. But I'll take my AK over an M-14 for most combat situations and brush busting, something that would be hell with an M-14. Not that I wouldn't take all three
I understand all about the advantages and disadvantages of both weapons. The M-14 is an assault rifle built around the concept of rifle that works its way up. The AK is an assault rifle built around the concept of a handheld machine gun. They serve entirely different purposes in different completely different roles. However, I gotta love the awesomeness that is the M-14. :P
Gotta love the awesomeness of all three I named: AK-47, M1 Garand and M-14. I'm not saying I don't like the M-14, they're awesome weapons that can deal a world of pain, I just think they're better off left in a designated marksman's hands then every grunt in a squad, and they aren't my aboslute favorite. But I'd still love to own one.

The details on the Kalashnikova still look great. Heh, you don't really have to give credit to the owners of AK-47, the weapon has been in production in so many countries and there are so many derivates to it, that nobody really cares if you use it in your art. I think the PC game industry uses it pretty much without license. Anyway, the picture is great.
