To tell you the truth, I'm more interested with the bomber in the background over the lovely "Fuzzdragon" Lady in the foreground. I'm intrigued with the idea of how Dragons which are mostly gifted with flight would design aircraft. After all it may be one thing to fly, but to be able to fly at say, 300 MPH and carry a 2,000 pound payload, that's another thing.

i dont know much about the plane, the artist actually threw that in as background, though it looks rather like a smaller lancaster and i imagine that engine on its back is supercharged in some way or that this is a powered glider of some form

actually, the body is closer to the b-26 marauder, though with the biplane configured wings and the top mounted engine
id still say powered glider of some form, possible catapult launched or rocket assisted take off

(Squints...) Perhaps. Although that biplane configuration reminds me a lot of the Old Soviet An-2 "Colt" cargo plane. It was one of the few aircraft I've watched at an airshow which could "Hover" in a 25 MPH headwind. Now on the other hand, perhaps that might not be a glass "Bomber Nose," but an engine mount ring at the front of the aircraft? I'm not discounting the powered glider concept though because the "Fuzzy Dragons" now being "People" might have a preference for towing or winching aircraft aloft because in their ancient history, that's how goods got airborne. Just my way if thinking as I enjoy it when an image gives me reason to exercise my imagination a bit.

well, Dalynna's species arent exactly fliers but there's a lot of similarity in the wing assembly between this and the An-2, so it could be possible it uses a similar thing


ooh, looking at it, if its based on the An-2, then it could be that the engine was moved to the top mount to make the forward part an observation bubble which could make since with the plane having a relaxed cruise speed because that means you dont have to make multiple passes
