I have really got to try out TF2 at some point! I've got it, but I'm such a newb on there; I have no idea who is who or who does what or what maps or modes are available and such :P One of these days I'm going to just hop on one of the newbie servers and see if I can get the hang of it

It takes time to get used to the game itself. The technical parts run so very differently than any other FPS game out there, and the classes are amazingly balanced, each with their own quirks. :P

This class fits you well. Sniper is the gayest class ever in all games. Always stay away from the battlefield to cowardly kill people from away. :D

Ah, but I've ravaged the enemy many times up close with the Snipers kick-as kukri, especially Spy's and Scouts whom think to get the drop on me, as well as any uncatious soldier or Pyro. ;)

I have, though to be honest, it just looks like EA is trying to get in on TF2 and CoD4s turf by combining them.

Well, so far, it looks promising. The Battlefield series has been extremely successful, and I don't see how they could flub up this far into the series.

But as for the visuals, it looks like a TF2 clone. Maybe not the best move. =/

If it's like the other battlefields. Most games will devolve into one or two tanks dominating the map. The games were good, but the sheer power of a single tank compaired to just about anybody on foot (or in lighter vehicles) made the games annoying to play...

But then you have planes, which are virtually invincible to tanks.
I think it just depends on how you play. Plus, they will probably dumb down the power in this game, being a cartoon shooter and all.

Pyro and Heavy are my secondary classes, for when DAMAGE is the name of the game. ;)

Plus some maps, or control points, are just impractical for snipers. :P

Most people forget that the only guys you need headshots on to kill are the Soldiers and Heavys at 100%, everybody else a good body shot is just as effective. ;)

Snipers are fun, though I tend to play as an Engineer more. The one server I was on it was nessessary that 6 of the 16 people on the team were putting up sentries and teleporters to mount defence while the other 10 ran half-half medics/attack.

Sniper on Toy Fort is fun too, esp when you are needed to snipe the enemy sniper on the bed. Gets fun, who's faster. :3

No worries. Medics are far more effective on the front line, supporting the guys who'll REALLY get hurt and who will benefit the most from Ubers.

You only need a medic if you get shot, after all. ;)

It can get annoying at some points, but really, what video game doesn't?

In the end, I keep coming back after invariably being dissapointed in other FPS games because I really do think Valve hit on something special here. The atmosphere and the gameplay is so incredibly different and casual. It's an amazing difference from games like CoD4 and H3. :P

It's got its share of flaws, but I can still enjoy this game a lot. n.n

Heh. Fair warning, after playing with others like Crome and Buwaya, I'm a horribly paranoid sniper. I look over my shoulder ever 5 seconds these days.

Good thing friendly fire isn't available, or else there'd be maaaaaany allies with knife wounds in their face at my feet. ;)

Once my computer gets fixed (hopefully sometimes before never), I will get TF2 rigged up, hopefully unless WoW gets over my interest. Mostly because there are groups of oldschool raiders who do MC and ect for fun. :)

My favorite class is always Engy, played alot as that class during TFC classic for Half-Life 1.

You don't actually use this as a spray? It's pretty fitting, even if a bit too PG-13 for CC's, hehe. Might need to make the background lighter, to have the dark contrast of your black areas and sunglasses show up on a in-game.

One thing I've learned from some of the multiplayer shooters I play: Don't mess with snipers. They have some sweet skills.
