This has got to be the MOST adorable Shining Armor moment EVER!!!
Just thought I'd share it with you. ^w^
For those of you wondering, this is a photo taken from the official MLP comic #11 right after Shining meets Cadence for the first time. I won't say any more about the comic to avoid spoilers, but ISN'T HE JUST SO FLIPPIN' ADORABLE!?!

Unfortunately alot of the comics are getting hard to come by, especially the micro series ones, but I think they will continue printing the archive books so you can at least get the story.

Unfortunately they are getting pretty hard to get the back issues. I'd say if you wanna read em, get em as fast as you can! You can just get the Volume 1 and 2 books for the first 8 comics, and then "Pony Tales" Volume 1 for the first 6 Micro Series comics, (probably on ebay) and then just watch IDW's site for new releases.
Unfortunately they are getting pretty hard to get the back issues. I'd say if you wanna read em, get em as fast as you can! You can just get the Volume 1 and 2 books for the first 8 comics, and then "Pony Tales" Volume 1 for the first 6 Micro Series comics, (probably on ebay) and then just watch IDW's site for new releases.
Well there's the main series, and then the "Micro Series" The main series has the normal storyline that come in arcs (ex: comic 1-4 is the 'Return of Queen Chrysalis' arc) And the "Micro Series" are stand alone comics that focus on individual characters (ex: comic 1 is Twilight's story, 2 is Rainbow Dash's story and so-on)
In the main series, there are currently 13 comics
In the Micro series, there is currently 9 comics
The annual is another stand alone comic special that was released for the first anniversary of the MLP comic main release.
I think there is another graphic novel "The Magic Begins", though I haven't got that one yet, so I'm not sure what exactly it is about.
And then there are the Cover Galleries which are not comics, but have some of the variant cover arts of the main comic. So far there are only 2 of these.
And finally there are the Archive Books which are larger books containing multiple comics of the Main and Micro series ( ex: this book has comics 1-4 of the main series, and this book has 1-6 of the Micro Series.
Currently there are 2 volumes for the main series, and 1 for the micro series
So in total, I suppose there are 29 books so far, and each month there should be another comic for the main series, and one for the micro series (for as long as they do the micro series)
Unless of coarse you want to try collecting all the variant covers for each book, which I'll just have to say "good luck with that!" I have no idea how many variant comics there are, too many for me to try to get, that's for sure! to give you an idea, this is SOME of the variant covers for comic #1 in the main series.
