Nah, I haven't for months now. I'm planning on trying again in the new year!

There's a character model in Assassin's Creed 2 that wears one of those masks, and I keep expecting them to start pecking/cawing.

*snrk* The beaks were actually filled with stuff like roses and lavender and other herbs, because everything smelled horrible. So though they looked like birds, it was actually a strange form of protection. Wouldn't it be neat if instead of typical medical face masks, we wore these kind of masks?

I picked up a cheap beaked mask at a Halloween costume store and painted it white...it looks good, though admittedly, a bit clean for someone who handles victims of the plague. The joy of cleaning up history...otherwise Renaissance Faires would be disgusting =p

And yes, I have seen Meg's plague doctor :D I love her cephalopod critters, and she's awesome in general (we roomed with her at Anthrocon one year; AWESOME roomie!)

I agree she does mighty cute critters.. And glad to hear she's as nice as I pictured
