A sure sign that Christmas is near, is when they put up the carasol in Gore Park downtown. Years ago, they used to have a pen of fallow deer that people could feed. They put an end to it after complaining that the deer were being stressed, but frankly whenever I saw them they looked bored as hell.

Anyways, tonite is the tree lighting, so they are rushing to get everything ready.
