The Old Testament is full of mass murder, ethnic cleansing and about every horrible act known, so with that to go on, it's actually not surprising.

The OT is so drenched in blood and carnage, assassination, genocide and infanticide, and all that good stuff, it only lends tremendous credence to the online allegation that the Judeo-Chrito-Islamic God, Yaweh, was actually the ancient Semitic war god back when the Semites were polytheists.

Well, devout can mean a lot of things, for what it's worth. In the sense of someone who is simply strong and confident in their faith, whatever that happens to be, I'd call you devout, from what I've seen of you. It's a subjective word though. Interesting to see you say this however. Somehow I always thought you actually identified as Christian but you seem to be saying otherwise here. How do you see your own ideas, if you don't mind my asking? I'm just curious - you needn't answer if it's too personal. :)
