Yeah, it's the full deal. I took the four wheel steering out, the old hydraulic system isn't as efficient as the electric on the 33s and 34s and that's where the leak is coming from. The pump has two outlets; it constantly circulates one line through the cooler from the reservoir and one to both racks and the solenoid. I removed the extra rack, solenoid and lines to the rear and bent around the return line so I could feed it back through the cooler, filing down a barbed pipe and I think I might have left a rough edge, which is where it's leaking from. Either that or replace it with a single outlet pump and lose the cooler or take the vanes out of the rear of the pump housing, but that unbalances the shaft it and destroys the bearing quickly. The join I made is not in a pleasant place to fix. Going to re-do it properly when I fit the engine oil cooler too. It's running N1 steel core turbos and 264 Tomei cams, with a Trust sump extension, Veilside ECU, flowed dump pipes...into a standard exhaust, V-spec master cylinder and upgraded brakes all round. Waiting for money to re-gather before putting in a proper ECU, boost controller and tuning it properly. Still nice and quick though. And yes, you can put any fluid in there and it's fine :P
Very nice. My 300zx EV conversion is lucky to not have the 4WS setup, so no mods required there. I've installed an electric power steering pump from an Astra in it. Apparently, it's a mod that others have done before.
I don't know any of the brands you mentioned (when it comes to tuning, I'm more in to euros), but it's clear that it's better than stock. Would like to see some pics of it. If you've posted any on twitter, I've missed them among the sea of things that look like faces

It's more of a go-er than a show-er. For a long time, it barely even went :p I've had a few pictures up, but it's not really in great condition. It is 24 years old and had a pretty hard life.

http://imageshack.us/a/img40/7214/dsc01643pk.jpg - It does actually clean up rather well.
http://imageshack.us/a/img208/1554/dsc01641uq.jpg - That was about two years in. The car came in with the fibreglass bonnet and wishlist of stickers; it had stock wheels and stock bonnet put on (loaned) when it went over pits, then that junk one went back on. I picked up a dented and scratched proper aluminium one for $50 and gladly ditched the old one for it. I rather like the car being rough; nobody expects it to go well and I'm not paranoid about driving it or leaving it in carparks. It also had the N1 headlights then, which I've swapped out for proper original projectors.)
http://imageshack.us/a/img856/5843/02052008004.jpg - That's it going over pits in full stock form, probably six years ago now.

That's my baby!
I still think a 300 is an odd choice for an EV. So heavy :p

Very nice. I prefer go over show as well. A good sleeper is a thing of beauty, though it's hard for any GTR, with that wide body and the badge and bumper to be a true sleeper.
The last powerful Audi I had was a bit of a sleeper as well, and certainly a "go-er" as you put it.

Bought the car as a salvage, so it needed some front panels. I swapped over some of the panels from the sedan version of the same car I already had, along with the DOHC 5cyl turbocharged engine I had previously swapped in to that. This time with a megasquirt instead of the stock turbo ECU. That car was a beast, AWD as well, and nobody expected what it was capable of. I absolutely loved it.
I agree the 300zx isn't the ideal EV platform, but it wasn't my choice. The guy wanted an electric 300zx, so that's what I'm delivering.

Yeah, I've only seen one here. It was an S2 and I used to see it around Wollongong, usually near the Audi dealership parked on the street. The car that the engine I had (1991 200 Turbo Quattro) never came here either, nor did the 4000 or 5000 series cars. If I could, my next restoration/sleeper project would be an Audi 4000cs Quattro. I absolutely love those things.
