Was reading this again for inspiration, and am genuinely surprised to see no feedback here. So since I said I was gonna comment the submission anyways sometime... *ahem*

I'm still very impressed over this story as a whole. The personalities of both characters are pretty well spot on, as is the chemistry between them. Two musical ponies, as different as their respective styles are, make a perfect duo, and it's really nice to see something that highlights their friendship. Not only that, but the way it builds up is a subtle, but effectively shown lesson in just how well these two, despite their huge differences, can still be friends. Additionally, it gives respect to the music in showing never to disrespect a style, as you never know when they may take you by surprise and leave a positive impact, much like what happened here.

It really touches on inspiring open-mindedness in a number of ways, and of course, friendship, which being a key part of ponies in general, makes me wish this were a real episode. It has good lessons which are subtle but effective, a great and inspiring plot, and of course, highlights the bond between two of the best ponies! The thing I also admire is how it didn't just take a generic route into lesbian sex. Their bond was effectively shown and developed without cliche, and I liked that a lot. It also holds a nice balance of emotion, and combined with the lessons it shows, it all really goes to demonstrate your impressive skills as a writer, as it's not always easy to fit in a nice subtle balance of everything, at least to me.

Were they ever to make an actual episode of these two, they wouldn't have to look far for a script, as it's already so nicely written up right here! That isn't bias either, I genuinely feel that it has everything a good episode of MLP needs. That all said, once again, wonderful work on this! One of my favorite reads for sure.

Thank you for the amazing review, my friend! I always try my best to make a story that will leave you wanting to read more because of excitement; not just to read and get it over with. As time goes on and the more I write, it gets easier to keep an idea going. It helps to have an imaginative mind like I do because shoot, you could come up with some pretty nifty ideas; proof being all the other stories in my gallery and the future stories I still have planned to write. Writing is definitely not easy at first but that goes for anything. Practice practice and practice!

Vinyl is less loud and crazy then most folks portray her as, but its a nice change of place for her character, and it works quite well.

Though, seeing "girl" instead of "filly", felt a bit odd, and the mention of the net was off putting. It seems out of place in the timeline of the show, and in a fantasy setting in gen. If this was set 50 years after the show ended, if there was some tech and info sharing between the EQG universe and the one this story takes place in then I'd be fine with it.

I think this story is your best work yet! You should post it on Fimfiction, Though, maybe you should post the sex scene as its own story.

I see it as, if the character(s) in question haven't actually been defined in their series, then it's free game on how to make them act. So until an episode comes out of the two, then we can finally see how they truly are.

I tried so hard not to use words that would involve me using 'everybody' and 'filly', as you can see, I missed a few and used the 'human' version of the word instead. I'm not a big follower of the show either so I had no idea the time was set in the past, so to speak. I didn't even think about; I just assumed magic ponies, everything can exist!

I do appreciate your kind words! I try to stay on a few sites (less worries) but I say a lot of things and end up doing them anyway so we'll see. As for sex scenes, not on the mind right now but as I said, give it time and I'll make something of the matter.
