Alright. This is an older tutorial that I finally decided to reformat to fit FA's size limits. I'm sorry that it got a little squashed; I tried to make it wider to compensate for the shorter height, but I think that just made it look a bit hectic.

I can't say I agree 100% with this technique anymore, but it's still the core of the way I colorpencil.

Please notice that I wasn't very successful with doing about half the things I was claiming to do (ie. the final isn't as blue-toned as I wanted it; that purple is not "grayish"). It's important for you to see where I fall short so that you can do better.
