So, to cheer me up a bit mum dragged me on the promised Michaels trip in the back you can see my new acquires some gold, and brown to make a cute plush, the new blue is for a gift, I was sad, I had wanted the brighter tone but someone had pulled off the paper bit and I wasn't let to buy them, the same with the mulch-tonal yarn, its full of teal dark purple, some orange and red, its for a gift as well, again I had wanted a different yarn but it went unfound so I'm hoping the receiver doesn't mind this yarn instead, and I hope it will be enough for what I'm wanting to make, since paint yarns are smaller packaged. The large one pound bags are for a 'paper chain' style decoration I'm making for the holidays... my arm already hurts thinking about balling those things. In back we have my new fiberfill, as I had run out and in front we have my collection of other yarns, my hooks and things, and my bag of buttons [all black and white, used for plush eyes]
I do love crochet, its a pastime I never regret picking up, I really ought to get to work though, I've got a number of things need to be done by the holiday

Good lord! That's alot of yarn. You outclass me by a lot. I learned to crochet from my mother, and the most advanced thing I've made to date is a double layer scarf, and it ended up wider on one side than the other! (I like to say that for no skill, I did good, considering that it's almost ten feet long.)
What do you intend to make?

If you have skype you can add me (Atalantasphinx), instead of using this site's note system. I'm pretty good at adapting my own patterns, but I only have a basic grasp of more difficult stitches. I normally only do amigurumi plushies so I've primarily used SIngle Crochet, Slip Stitch, etc
