My first story in the Chakat Universe. A bit rough, especially the end but it was only meant as short one-shot anyway.
The idea for this story appeared in my mind around the abdication of Pope Benedict XVI. Timewise it is set around the present in the Chakat Universe, complete with increasing tensions between humans and morphs. Update: Now with guest chakat.
Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum:
Habemus Papam;
Eminentissimum ac reverendissimum Dominum,
Dominum Aleksander Sanctæ Romanæ Ecclesiæ Cardinalem Pantheris,
Qui sibi nomen imposuit Leo XVI.

Spoiler: The new pope in this story is not a chakat.

Quite the interesting read, most certainly! And as old and stuffy as the Roman Catholic Church can be, recently it has been remarkably liberal (for itself) and if things continue down the path that Pope Francis is traveling through in the Chakat Universe, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the result of one certain puff of White Smoke.
