Although this is titled as a "NEW" character sheet, the image itself is actually rather old.
Like many of my pictures lately, it's been languishing in sketch form waiting for me to pick it up once more for inking.
This pic represents a more comfortable and accurate depiction of myself than I've managed previously.
Having started off drawing primarily Dinosaurs, when I began moving into doing Dragons, they all ended up being built off of Dino templates.
Boxy T-rex style head and chest, stocky rigid tail and neck, every part was distinctly more 'saurian than draconic.
Early descriptions of myself, as well as my own mental image, has always been of something much more lithe and thin than I was able to draw myself.
This is one of many older attempts to create a proper character sheet - a feat that still eludes me. Yet it's nevertheless a proper glimpse into how I see myself.
Among the changes that can be seen are the shallower chest and less rigid tail, narrower more triangular head and leaner physique. The halluces now reach the ground, allowing them to properly aide in gripping and perching.
