Dead Man's Paw Collaboration (with Tactical Snake)

A couple things first off: first, the Possum is the one holding the cards, named Everret, and I realize he doesn't look nearly as possum-ish as we'd like... but whenever we tried to make him look more like a possum, the expression was ruined, and we loved that expression far too much to let it go. Second, the cards he's holding are the dead man's hand that Wild Bill Hickock was holding when he was killed. There is contention on the odd card out, but for our purposes the queen of diamonds was the candidate that fit our symbology the best.
The fox in the front is Cody, an orphan Everret picked up. The people on the cards I won't go into here (though I have a little bit elsewhere) so as not to give too much away. Everret is a huckster/con artist/cheater in the later old west. The card hand here, as well as its reference in the title, represents the theme of the comic: seeming good luck turning bad and seeming bad luck turning good. I hope when he have enough of issue 1 ready to post everyone will give it a read. ^_^
