If you've seen Macross 7, then you know- this had to be done. For as much as I love Macross. Basara annoyes me to no end. Darn space hippies.
At least he was good at demoralizing troops. If I couldn't hit a guy who plays gutar instead of concentrating while piloting his giant robot- I'd get upset and leave too. "Jeeze, he's not even TRYING!" >.<
If you've GOT to save the universe through song- PLEASE find a better lead singer!

Personally, I quite liked Basara and the band's music.
Basara as a CHARACTER, however... Lets just say I'd LOVE to make him the first person since Jansen Van Vuuren to be reduced to a cloud of pink mist by an open-wheel car. Perferably on live TV(as was the case with Jansen Van Vuuren).
