The Parasite
Also called the Oblivious Dead, are spirits born from the earth, or from nothing. No one really knows. Their sole purpose is to find a corpse to posses, for it’s own survival, or else it’s existence will be removed by itself. It has no mind or emotion, it only has that sole survival instinct. Once it has possesses the corpse, all wounds, as well as rot, is healed and repaired of the corpse, and giving it back it’s life. The only difference is their solid black eyes, with a red glowing circle around their iris. This is though hidden thanks to a illusion created by the spirit. Once possessing, it forget’s it’s a spirit, thanks to using the memories, emotions, and such, stored in the corpse. It removes the memories of the day of death, making it seem that when they wake up from death, they believe they have been abducted or something similar, not waking up at the place they fell asleep. This is why it’s called a Oblivious dead… Because it’s a corpse, that doesn’t know it’s dead. The Parasite will believe that it is the person it has possessed. A Parasite are also known to be extremely hard to kill, since the body will change itself to protect the host. Eventually, the body will recognizance that the spirit inhabiting it is not it’s own, and will automatically try to reject it, which the spirit itself responds in going berserk, though the mind of the “person” possessed, is fully intact, but with no control over the body, only able to watch, beg and cry for forgiveness as it slaughters it’s way through hordes of innocents, not being able to stop itself.
The only redemption for a Parasite…
The only way to save them…
Is to end their misery…
To kill them.
