Inspired by the song "Sound of Silence"
"Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

Art wise, my focus has been really off and I been doodling scattered stuff. This is not only an experiment in shading, but also vent art.

I've been in a depressed mood for a while, and art wise... Not very forth coming with new ideas and creativity... I actually sketched this idea out about a week or so ago and it was sitting in my laptop till yesterday. I decided to use this as a black and white experiment. I think this turned out quite well... More or less, this got turned into vent art. Just... *sigh* At times I hate the holidays...
