actually the colouring was a pain too!
i'd been using some different paper and ran out, so swapped back to some remaining bristol i had lying around. but it was smooth bristol and that doesn't take watercolours very well. so the backgrounds were just like, a huge headache.

Oh dear dear dear. So that vial was contaminated blood. That's... not so good. *waits eagerly for the next page*
I like the fire in the third panel, the microorganisms behind the panels, the lab equipment... and your panel layouts are a treat as usual. (Man oh man, though, why is nobody pouncing on that broken vial and cleaning it up?! So many characters with bare feet to step on glass with contaminated blood on it, aaaack! XP )

nah the medbay is contained. it's just shaped very strangely, sort of like an i-beam. the area where ash is lying is in the center of the beam. there's a few doors in and out but at current they're all closed.
however, ash was freely bouncing around the ship before they discovered he was sick. the area he was doing so in was in lockdown and can be decontaminated, but anyone within that lockdown could have been (and was) exposed. while that spells trouble for....three individuals besides ash, the rest of the GMOs are held in a safe stasis and so aren't in any danger.

well no i have not explicitly stated yet what the vial contained :O just that they WERE working with blood, and aslilin hasn't taken any precautions to protect herself.
and thanks haha i had originally intended to put actual bacterial pnuemonia in there where the faux ameobas are, but then i realized there's about....300 variations of pnuemonia. i started reading about a few but it was just like NOPE NO TIME TO GO DOWN THIS RABBIT HOLE RIGHT NOW so i just fudged some wigglers.

Hahaha, I know that feeling! XD So many interesting things in the research books/internet, so little time. They are some nicely-fudged wigglers if that counts for anything! Wiggly wiggly cilia~
