The SuperTaryuuPatamon form is the product of "Super Rookie Mode", a kind of sustained power-up mode Syl acquired during his stay in a particular Digital World derived from a Digimon video-game based on "Super Smash Bros", which exclusively used Rookie level Digimon as its character roster, but in turn offered each one a "Super Rookie Mode" boost. Syl has long since learned to sustain the form indefinitely, if he wishes.
Trivia: During one of his stays in the Season 1/2 Digital World, Syl gave T.K's Patamon the ability to enter his own version of this form.
(note that the above trivia is obviously not official in any way shape or form)
