Not quite, they don't seem to put so much making the 'a' sound like an 'ee'. There's a whole world of difference out there. They may put a bit more into making the 'a' sound like an 'ee' in the outback but I don't know? :D

Nice artwork. Your fursona looks very pleased with his form. :) I like the scarf particularly.

My primary fursona was a 'roo for many years but it always seemed lacking. Then I realised I could blend fox & roo into a foxaroo at it instantly struck a cord with me. I'm far from the only foxaroo though, there's quite a few of us. I'd never give my fursona a pouch though.

Hybrids are a thing for me I am not so sure about. I guess it just depends on species - foxroo works though!

It worked well in terms of both appearance and personality. There aren't yet many established conventions about the personality of a kangaroo, whereas foxes are generally perceived as intelligent, cunning and occasionally sophisticated (at least in terms of professional media anyway). All of these added depth to my character, while the kangaroo anatomy lends greater agility.

However I didn't achieve a truly 50/50 blend of the two species as he's mostly a kangaroo with some fox features around the face, ears and tail. For a superb blend of the two you should see  redtailfox , he has an outstanding design.

And here I was thinking that you would always be a fox. Although, it's nice to go and try new things, and I suppose a change of species (even temporarily) also counts. Will there be any other Keeny forms in the future? Like an otter or something?

Neat. Although, it'll likely take some getting used to for me to adjust to seeing you in those different forms. (plus it's a lot easier to remember KeenyFox than KeenyKangaOtterFoxyroo, ect.)
