Another birthday present, this one from  WrathOfAutumn.

This is Leonine Might, the leader of LOST, a superhero group of people turned into different things and also regular anthros.

Leonine was born in ancient Egypt as a demigod, Selkhet. When Teth-Adam went mad, he was incensed that his family had not simply taken their powers from Black Adam to stop his rampage. So, he tried to face the Black Adam himself, before the wizard Shazam had taken him down, thinking that a man merely borrowing the powers of the Gods could not defeat an actual child of the Gods. He was wrong.

However, Selkhet had a backup plan. He had cast a ressurection spell on himself before the battle. The spell would ressurect him multiple life times, each one learning new skills that upon one of them regaining his bracers, would be able to recall in time.

While the plan worked flawlessly, the various human lifetimes he lived would bestow him with more than various forms of fighting. He also learned of humility, sacrifice, and various other virtues.

In the modern day, his reincarnation was a young man named Leonard Howard, a native of Metropolis and superhero enthusiast (and of course, a fan of Superman). One day, in the mystical Chinatown district, he happened across a strange man who was selling a pair of antique bracers said to bestow supernatural strength to the wearer.

Deciding to humor the man, Leonard bought the bracers and tried them on, only to turn into Selkhet, reawakening his memories. He then recognized the man as a human form of his great-nephew, Anubis, who had taught him the ressurection spell to begin with. While he didn't gain all his skills from his prior lifetimes back at once, Anubis assured him he would gain them gradually, though other memories would be clear as day from the start.

Deciding to follow in Superman's Footsteps, the fiery lion rechristened himself Leonine Might, and sought like-minded morphs - both natural and transformed - to form LOST.

Leonine is capable of multiple forms of fighting, fly, and wield the powers of fire. He also has super strength. Unlike Superman and Shazam!, he is capable of getting beaten in a fight, though he cannot be permanantly killed unless a certain object of his is destroyed. After his prior death he decided to hide the object on his person.
