Just wanted to capture the cool breezy feeling of early spring. I used light gentle colors, punched up with a bit of red (Japan's navy blue). Nowadays kimono under robes are mostly very pastel or white, but in the past scarlet was common. (one place you can still see this in moder Japan is in a Maiko's dress) In a strange way, it goes with everything but is not something that would be considered a wearable combination in the west!
