Ryan hadn't known what to think when the scruffy looking man had shoved the small bundle into his hands, mumbling "take good care of this," and hurrying off. Later on at home, he unwrapped the bundle to find a fuzzy tail.
It's red and white fur looked so real, Ryan was almost convinced it'd been thoughtlessly sliced off some stuffed fox from a museum. However, the base was obviously constructed of some artificial fabric and, oddly, fused with a thin piece of supple material meant to function as a belt.
It sat in a shoebox under his desk for a few days until curiosity got the better of him. When he strapped on that fluffy, flowing tail, Ryan's life was forever changed...
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, FA. Glad to have you back :) I had some time on my hands this holiday season and this is my gift to you; I know how many people have been requesting it!
I decided to base this morph with the tail as the trigger because it just turned out so nice when I cropped and fluffed it from the original image. It seemed a shame to make it start out small and grow!
This is a ten-layer morph, and the head involves six of them. The three-quarters facial position is pretty tough to get right, but I knew I could do it, since I'd already done it with my panda morph. The feet behind the grass is also something I'm pretty new at doing. In all, I'm really happy with how this one turned out! There are some nit-picky issues I have, but nothing major.
Hope you enjoy it :)
PS: I originally wanted to end Ryan's story with "That night, Ryan found out what the fox says..." but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. XD
