First long overdue commission for someone on DA of a white winged wolf howling at the moon. I was trying to play with different colors to create a lonely and quiet atmosphere. The idea I originally had for it was completely different; it was supposed to be a zoomed in shot of a wolf head and mane with the wings curling around in the background, but I couldn't fit the wings into the picture properly and ended up drawing the whole wolf XD I also kept on changing the background and had trouble creating the leaves of the trees; they kept looking messy and unnatural. I don't usually draw wings either so sorry about how the front one looks awkward! Overall this piece was pretty fun to do since I enjoyed playing around with colors :D
