If you check out Vulpix's pokedex entrees it says that vulpix when born/hatched has a single pure white tail that changes color and splits at the base with age. I love the thought of a vulpix running around with only a single white tail. >w< So cute! Also I hate their hair curls. :x I kinda wish that the game actually matched what the dex entrees say... :x For a lot of the pokemon in fact. Lol. I think even in the TV series they failed to have the hatching vulpix with the white tail. > A < /shakes fist I bet the tail would still be curled though. :3
