This is a remake done over a year later of my over world theme, Open Horizons, that has long since been overdue. I use a real orchestra this time, which by itself alone makes a very noticeable difference, but the grandest change comes not from an improved palette, but an improvement in song writing. Being the age that the original is, I have grown (and still have much to do mind you). It follows the original to what was originally the end, and then erupts in a fortississimo that, despite being quite loud, is so tranquil, so beautiful, that it truly brings life to this composition. As this uses a string section, this piece has, in essence, over 50 strings from double basses and cellos to violas and violins, to create an encompassing environment.
