My little interpretation of Anubis.
The last time I drew Anubis was back in 2005 and I never uploaded the picture. This little idea has been in my head since yesterday evening, so I had to draw it, and complete it in the same night.
I love when spontaneous ideas happen to become real. It's so much fun. <3
Another seemingly spontaneous news for you is my trip to Australia. Thanks to Fizeo and CynWolfe, this journey was made possible for me. :)
I will put up more information in my journal very soon!
This picture will be at the artshow of Confurgence 2014!
Thank you so much for looking! <3

I really love the dark atmosphere and then the choice of spot coloring. I know blue may seem like second nature for souls but some might've chosen read or even yellow but i feel like that soul-blue is great. it gives an entirely different ambiance than another color wouldve and its a very intriguing feel. Contemplative yet powerful..perhaps a little lonely.
...I have to watch quietly... don't want to ruin the silence...
I'm staring at a god of death, terrified and allured, in a sepulchral silence where nothing moves; what does he see, what is he looking for? The soul is being scrutinized with painful inquisitive precision, and I'm afraid I'll be next... my entire life examined, detail after painful detail, and I'll feel sorrow and shame... to see my faults... my regrets... my sins...
Sorry, I just had to write down the feelings this picture evokes me. You made a wonderful job!
