Lose yourself into the trance :)
A quick project I started earlier this week, I actually wrote this score out on my keyboard before cleaning it up and bringing it over to FL, which was fun.
Happy all around with this one, even if it was meant to be a minor track while I work on my larger projects.

Very catchy.. a little high on the drum compression, could use some EQ to take out some of the lower frequencies on the first pad.
I like the arp lead, however it's a little too random. Did you use an arppegiator or did you put in the notes by hand?
I think this would be a really good A and A+ sections of a song. Generally songs in the trance genre follow an A, A+, B, AB, A+, AB+, A Format. It has potential to carry on even more when you add more elements to it.
I like the chord progression. It reminds me of the older styles of trance. you used (I believe I got tonic right)
e: i - VII - VI - VII - i :
The next step for this song would be adding in more Sharpness to the Arp lead, as that is what you want the audience to listen to. Up those frequencies from the 4Khz on up to about 16Khz. No need to go farther than that because humans only hear below the 20Khz Frequencies.
Also ADD MORE PERCUSSIVE SOUNDS, a kick and snare are fun and all, but there needs to be more life to the beat. Add in a reverse cymbal with a reverb effect on it, with it EQed in a way that anything below, oh I'd say, 250hz is cut off and deleted. Too much of the lower frequencies boost unnessesary effects.
Good luck!

The arp is hand written within the song's key (A5,G5,A6,G6,A7,G7), although the arps have a delay on their mixer channel (adds a little atmosphere), so that might be what is making it sound random.
I'll probably revisit this sometime with what you mentioned, this was more of a small project I put together over just a few days, thanks for the feedback ^^
