A dragon tattoo I painted on my forearm while driving around with my boyfriend at work... with highlighters! :D

Yellow/orange highlighters (oh, and green for the eye), red/black ballpoint pen. ~1 hour.

Mmm, it stayed on for several hours, but it rubs off more easily than, say, acrylic paint or just ballpoint would. The highlighter part is kind of sticky and tends to transfer onto whatever it rubs against, so I had to be careful X3

No, I just drew it on myself with a bunch of highlighters and a ballpoint pen while camping.

Heh, not lately, but sometimes :D I wanted to get body painted up as a Khajiit (cat person :b) warrior last year for Halloween but it fell through.

That's really amazing for highlighters. It looks purpley too, I wouldn't have expected that from those colors combined. Course, I don't have much skill with mixing pigments either, haha.

Hehe, the purple seems to have come from the black - when it mixes or fades, it gains a sort of bluey purple colour for some reason o_O Guess it's just what they make the black out of in production or whatever.

Oooh, that makes sense. I remember seeing blue/purple pigments when I did a chemistry project. I put a dot on a piece of paper with a marker, then set it in acetone and watched it travel up the paper, separating the individual colors.

thats awesome!!! found this while looking for cool tattoos I could outline onto my arm with sharpies. Can't believe that was done with highlighters, and in one hour too! WOW!!

Heh, well, I dunno about the actual tattoo parts, but I could design the tattoos :)
