yeah... this just happened...

no, really!
My dog has this towel in his dog beg and I went to go grab it so I could put a new one in, and he just came right up to me and smacked my hand.
I tried again, and he smacked my hand again... when I tried again, he leaped onto the towel and smacked me again...

....this went on six more times... finally I got it away from him while he was distracted by an itch. I put it aside, put a new towel on the bed and waited to see how he'd react...
I REALLY thought he would just go back to his bed, clinging to the now clean towel...

He stood there a moment, stared at the clean towel, walked over the the old towel and proceeded to paw at it till I gave it, put the old towel on his bed. He then instantly jumped into bed and curled up...

...my dog is special...
